circular consumerism

As you may know we need to work harder at consuming less and choosing materials that can be reused or broken down without to much damage to the environment.

On the 14th of April there is the national clothes-swaping day in Sweden, Denmark and Norway which means that numerous events are being staged around the country that day where people can swap their garments with other people.

Last year, in Sweden alone, nearly 41 000 garments changed owner in one single day.

If we consider that these garment swaps replaced buying we saved the planet from 30 tons of chemicals, 280 tons of carbon dioxide and 40 000 cubic meters of water -in one single day! 

The power is in our hands..
